This Friday we were excited to attend the Renfrewshire Business Awards. After a tough application and interview process, Poco was shortlisted for the award for Innovation and Technology.
It was a privilege to be shortlisted along side Glasgow Airport and Rolls Royce, both exemplary local businesses in the Renfrewshire area.
The award evening was a lively night out for many hard-working local businesses, great to see everyone letting loose after a tough couple of years. Regular host Fred MacAulay created a great buzz, having everyone back together after missing the awards over the last year through Covid.
We were grateful that our unique mattress materials were recognised and that the judges appreciated our efforts in combining traditional mattress making techniques with new, specialist materials. Technologically, our focus on developing our photography, branding and website was recognised. Learning as we go, and trying anything once, it was great to have our efforts in professional digital development acknowledged.
Despite not going home with the award, it was excellent to be recognised alongside such names as Rolls Royce and Glasgow Airport! We can’t wait to see what the next year brings as we continue to grow! Now the work starts on growing towards the awards for next year!!
